PACxSTAR Universe™
The dance competition rewards dancers with its marquee finale event called PACxSTAR Universe™ delivered in December.
To be eligible to compete and be crowned PACxSTAR Universe™ Champion you must either do one of two things:
WIN a placing in any regional competition. Only 1st, 2nd and 3rd placings per category automatically gain entry to the PACxSTAR Universe™.
Earn 250 competition points. Special prizes receive extra points and can be added to the total tally towards the 250 points.
Dancers can either use the same choreography used in the regional competitions or create a new choreography.
PACxSTAR Regionals ™
The dance competition will be held throughout the year with age grade competitions held during the school holidays.
To be crowned PACxSTAR Regional™ Champion in (ethnic heritage and category) you must WIN a placing in any regional competition.
Only 1st, 2nd and 3rd placings per category automatically gain entry to our marquee finale PACxSTAR Universe™.
ALL dancers receive points from adjudication and are eligible to apply for the PACxSTAR Universe competition 250 points gained.
Judges
The judging panel is composed of professionals and personalities chosen by the organizer. The judging panel follows a scoring sheet with notations which is available to all dance tutors and candidates at the end of the event.
The organizers audit and tally the scores away from the judges.
